Instagram is a weird place. At this point, my newsfeed is basically hot chicks, memes, dogs, hot chicks, and memes. I don’t think I even follow any of my actual friends. Recently I’ve contemplated deleting my account altogether. But just when I thought I was out, Instagram goes and pulls me back in.
I stumbled across the hashtag #FishBra and found myself intrigued. I’m a fisherman. I like bras. Let’s see where this takes me:
Finally, a social media trend I can get behind. People want to give Pokémon Go credit for bringing users outside. Fuck that noise. I don’t want to catch a Pikachu; I want to catch myself a girl who likes to fish. That’s how you get me outside.
There’s something about the mystery of what’s behind those fish that is enough to drive any guy crazy. Sure, we all know what a pair of tits looks like — some of us from personal experience, others from the internet. Yet it brings us back to our adolescent years, which guys never truly grow out of, yearning to see more.
Fishing is a lot like chasing women when you think about it. We’re trying to mount both that trophy fish and girl. There will be plenty that we have no desire to keep and throw back. You’ll probably go long spurts without ever luring one in. As the years go on, the fish and her tits get bigger in our stories. We’re on a lifelong pursuit for the one.
Fish, tits, and the great outdoors. Long live the Fish Bra..
